The petal-shaped pans add a fresh and personal touch; decorate with edible or marzipan flowers for added effect. Since the pans come in four different sizes and are in a nonstandard petal shape, a baking and serving chart on the packaging helps determine the appropriate baking time and amount of batter required for each pan, as well as the quantity of batter and icing needed overall. Decorating ideas are included on the packaging as well. The 2-inch deep pans, deeper than standard cake pans, ensure cake sides are straight and smooth for easy icing. | I have just used these pans to bake a wedding cake and it turned out beautifully!! Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop complimenting on the design of the cake. These pans work wonderfully because they are made of a thicker construction than other pans. This prevents them from burning the cake easily. Also, they are made of a very good quality aluminum which prevents them from rusting or chipping. Who wants a cake with chips of paint in it??? The cake baked in these pans was easy to decorate and stacked beautifully. So, for a different look in a wedding cake I would definitely recommend this cake pan set!! |

| The pans are very nice--great to make a professional cake with. They also arrived promptly. The only thing I might change is the number of petals--these are each 8 petal pans--I've seen more expensive pans with only 5 or 6 petals each. The reason I say this is because when you bake the smallest 8 petal cake, it is a little more difficult to retain the petal shape when frosting it. |
