| An absolute great treat for kiddies of all ages! My son and I use this as one of our Halloween projects. He helps me pour the batter into the molds and helps me decorate the "friendly" ghosts. We use extra frosting to make the ghosts look "fluffy" and also use hard candies, sprinkles and colored frosting. The ideas are endless and my son and I enjoy the time we spend together! The treats are also well received by his classmates when we bring them to his Halloween party! Kids love them! |

I'm buying my fourth one of these because I love them so much for Halloween. Although I'm not a fan of white cake, for some reason, white cakes baked in this pan taste good. Perhaps it's the cream-cheese icing I use, but the ghost cakes still taste better than ordinary cupcakes.
One cake mix will make about 18 ghost cakes. (I use a scant 1/3 cup of batter per ghost cake.)
Since I typically make at least 3 dozen cakes, it will help to have 4 pans, so I can have two pans in the oven while I prepare the other two.
This is my favorite Halloween baking accessory of all. |
